CHECK PLEASE !

So as you all know I do make up at the Merle Norman Studio here in vernal. My boss asked me to go to a business meeting that had studio owners from Idaho, Colorado, and Utah and we all meet 2 a year. Betty and I drove out to SLC together and I really had a great time. We went and ate at Cheesecake Factory, I had the most amazing 4 cheese pasta and we got our nails and toes done and then waited in the lobby at the Embassy Suites on 6th. We had great food there and I had the yummiest lemonade Ive ever had there, it was ridiculously priced, but really good, I drank about 4 glasses before the other ladies showed up, a few other ladies ordered the same drink as me but apparently one of them decided to throw a little licker in with her lemonade ......yeah....and guess who's drinks got mixed up! Dont worry, I only had a sip before I realized there was something totally wrong with my cough syrup tasting lemonade :) I made Betty take a sip and she was like.....yeah Nicky that's not your drink! I have never felt more out of place in my life, the one word I can think of that described all of those women is "plastic" lol. the only thing we had in common is the love of Merle makeup. It was great getting to see the new product line coming out and trying 5 star food, but man, I do not belong in that kind of life. I love my t-shirt and jeans and left overs night!

Memories (thanks Alisha)

My friend Alisha had this oh her blog so im copying it!!!!

As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot...anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you!

Happy Birthday Grandma Bingham!

We had a really fun get together with all of the Bingham family on Saturday. Its Grandma Binghams 80th Birthday, It was so fun to see everyone, and for me its nice to get to know the extended family better. We used the Neola Elementry school and it worked out really well. The kids had a good time playing with all of the toys and I think Danny had more fun terrorising all the nephews at basketball. Believe it or not we didnt have any serious injuries the entire day! thats got to be a record. Gracy didnt get a nap that day and was seriousley the baby Zombie, she had this look on her face like.....I dont want to miss anything, but with these glazed over eyes, poor little thing. Anyway, We had a great time. I am so grateful for Grandma and Grandpa Bingham for giving us such a great family. Its hard to believe that it all started with those two people. OH I almost forgot, it was potluck, and Danny made his "special spaniard Tater Salad" I know, and It was way good. I feel a little intimidated that my husband can cook better than me. I should take advantage of this EVERY NIGHT!!!!

RICE CEREAL!

My little girl is growing up, Gracy had her 4 month last week and we got the OK to start rice cereal. Poor thing also got another round of shots so she hasn't been herself, she seems to be doing better though :) I called my sister the other day to see how her baby Bailey is doing, her and Gracy are only 3 days apart and they have been starting new things at the same time. I just wish we lived closer. They are both reaching for things and laughing and its just a cool thing to watch them go through it together. I love it. This is Grandma Linda she seems to know how to make the cereal so Gracy will eat it, I havent had any luck so far :)

Onward !

Ive had some serious thoughts floating around that needed to be released with all of this election mumbo jumbo. So I was reading a few chapters in this book I received a few years ago "An Enemy hath done this" Ezra Taft Benson wrote it back in the 60's I think, Its amazing to me how the prophets have so much knowledge of the future. Its just another realization to me how important it is to listen to pres. Monsen and his teachings.

In 1942, the First Presidency warned us saying:"Satan is making a war against all the wisdom that has come to men through their ages of experience. He is seeking to overturn and destroy the very foundations upon which society, government, and religion rest. He aims to have men adopt theories and practices which he induced their forefathers, over the ages, to adopt and try, and only to be discarded by them when found unsound, impractical and ruinous. He plans to destroy liberty and freedom -- economic, political, and religious, and to set up in place thereof the greatest, most widespread, and most complete tyranny that has ever oppressed man. He is working under such perfect disguise that many do not recognize either him or his methods... Without their knowing it, the people are being urged down paths that lead only to destruction. Satan never before had so firm a grip on this generation as he has now."I truly feel it is not foreign affairs that will destroy this country first, it is what goes on within our country, Americans destroying America. "Great nations are never conquered from the outside unless they are rotten inside... We might survive a nuclear attack -- but we cannot survive (any better than Athens and Rome) moral degeneration and the abandonment of fundamental principles." -Benson

I really feel that Pres. Benson is right, the American people will be the biggest conflict on our nation, not any foreign affairs that have happened or will happen. Its so hard not to be discouraged with the new LIBERAL in charge, especially since Danny and I have a little baby girl that has to now grow up in a seeming to fail country. I had the worst thought the other night as McCain's chances lessened, I thought how could I have been so selfish to bring Gracy into this world in such trying times, And then I got thinking how amazing she is and how important it is for her to be here and have the chance to change things for the better, that's the big plan, we all have the chance to choose and as Gracy gets older I have the luxury of introducing the gospel in her life. But I have to say while listening to Obama speak the other night. "If there is anyone out there that still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders are alive in our times, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer." I do doubt, but I also have hope, McCain as well as Obama asked our nation to become Unified, I guess this is the one time in this entire election that I have had some sense of mind and feeling of comfort. I hope not so much for my sake but for my babies sake, that our nation will choose the right, be as a unified country.

Girls Day!!!

Tuesday night my sister Corinne decided to take Wednesday off and come out to spend the day with my mom, Gracy and I. We are all pretty ready for the holidays because we all miss the "family time" . We had so much fun, we just kind of enjoyed the day, Corinne and Gracy and I went to a new clothing store in vernal while my mom stopped by her work to check a few emails. We hit wal-mart to pick up some ingredients and then went home to bake cookies and watch a chick flick. We watched "PS I love you" I have to say I really wasn't a fan of it, honestly like chick flicks, I don't know if its after baby hormones or what but It was sooo sad......too sad to watch, really, I don't recommend it. But I loved spending time with Corinne and mom. She also made Gracy a little pink tutu, its sooo cute. I forgot my camera but I think my mom snapped a picture ill have to post it later.

Halloween Party!!!!

Danny and I went to hang out with a few friends Halloween night, Gracy got to go trick-or-treating with her G-ma and G-pa .
Marcus, Trevor and Shaun Batty, The batty boys~

This is me looking like an Idiot, we were playing a modified version of Guesstures.
Boys against girls.....Guess who won......yeah the girls did, we rock and blew the boys out of the water!

This is Shaun, Amber's hubby, since their last name is "Batty" we thought this hat was appropriate:)

Amber made us a yummy spaghetti dinner. Although I have to say it was a little trippy eating purple noodles and bone shaped bread sticks. Her and Shaun have been married for about 1 month, they are such a cute couple, Its been fun getting back together with my high school friends. I just love them. Having good friends is something danny and I have always been blessed with.

Gracy's first Halloween!!!

Look at my cute little bunny! I always thought it was ridiculous to dress your little baby up for Halloween when they don't even know whats going on. I understand why women do it now, lol. I just couldn't help myself, I even put blush on her little nose and eye liner for rabbit whiskers. I think Gracy had no idea what was going on but was surprisingly willing with the face makeup and rabbit ears. I just love her, she is such a great baby. I was thinking about how babies just have to do whatever and go wherever, its kinda sad, but Gracy seems to be cool with being hauled wherever we need to go. She actually really likes going places.

MOM WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING!!!!!

Im pretty much the cutest rabbit on earth!!!
