Bailey and Gracy's First Christmas!!!

This is Bailey and Gracy's SECOND time seeing each other since they were born, I cant believe they are almost 6 months already, it has gone by SOOO fast.
Its so fun to see them notice each other and reach for each other. They will be doing and going through the same things there entire life. sitting up, crawling, walking, kindergarten, high school, college, its fun for me to think about. oh and Gracy's feet aren't really that big, her Robeez shoes are just a bit big but they are the only shoes that stay on her feet, I highly recommend investing in a pair for anyone with a baby.

They Drove here all the way from Kansas City Missouri!! that's like a 14 hour drive. They split the trip up and stayed in Denver but seriously, Tiff said little Bailer was a trooper the whole way, not very many babies would do that well on such a long drive. Heck I cant hardly make that drive with out going stir crazy!

Here are the proud Dads! This is Ryan my brother-in-law, They just pulled in the driveway when we took this picture, they all were so tired. This Christmas is going to be so fun.

More pictures to come. I just couldnt wait to post these.

Fraggle Rock or Troll Doll???

OK OK I have to explain
my little Fraggle baby, Danny thinks she looked like those little Trolls with the Gem belly button, lol. so I was sitting there straightening my hair with Gracy hangin out next to me in her Bumbo, when I suddenly had this great idea to try it out on her. She usually watches me so intensely when i get ready and so I tried a chunk of hair to see how she would react to it and she froze solid and acted like she liked it. 2 Minutes later, this is what Gracy looked like, We are still laughing about it. I honestly cant believe we have such a good natured little girl. Shes hilarious. Her hair is like 4 1\2 inches long already!!! Shes only 6 months old!!! I cant wait till she starts walking and talking, it just means more fun! I never really REALLY understood the blessing a baby until I got my own. What a joy.

Christmas Tree Hunting!

White Rocks Canyon is so beautiful right now, after we got our tree we drove through the canyon and the Beavers cut down so many trees, it made such a mess on the road. There was this really pretty blanket of Fog that sat right on the tops of the mountains. I wish these pictures showed half of how pretty it was up there. We were lucky enough to find a Pinyin, they smell SO good, and its really a very full and pretty tree, BUT.......when we got it in the house we realized its DRIPPING with SAP! So Ive had to put newspaper everywhere. Totally worth it though, this tree smells the house of Christmas.!!!!

Look at our Nacho dog, She isnt our little puppy anymore. We love her.

Gracy did so well, I was so worried about her getting cold but she was pretty warm with her snowsuit on. She LOVES the outdoors, watching the leaves blow on the trees and even the cold on her cheeks. What a daddy's girl.

Steamboat Trip

We took a mini vacation to Steamboat Springs the weekend after Thanksgiving. Our good friends have a timeshare there and we just ran up there for a few days. It was so beautiful and nice to just go relaxe.. I love the little touristy towns, Danny and I went Grocery shopping the first morning to make breakfast and everyone was WAY friendley It was funny how everyone noticed the new comers. This is The DADS carring Carson and Gracy, while Brooke and I shopped. SO FUN.

Gracy is only like 2 1\2 months older than Carson but seriously look how big she is, lol. She always has this suprised look on her face, I guess the flash is startling. I just love her leg warmers, they are the best invention ever. makes changing a diaper fast fast!

Brook is getting to be so good at taking pictures with her camera, I loved this one, Gracy's cheeks and overflowing her little snowsuit. Theres nothing better than a nice healthy Chubby Gracy Girl, I love her so much. And on top of that her cute little unicorn hat we got her.

This little girl surprises me everyday. Shes always had this little stiff body and last night she started balancing and wanting to walk...Danny started walking her around a little bit and she was loving every second of it. She is such an amazing little girl. So full of personality and is so hilarious, honestly she makes me laugh till I cry all the time. I guess we wore her out because she got up once to eat at 8 this morning and then slept till 10!!! Shes always slept through the night but never till 10 in the morning. On top of that usually when she has a good night she wakes us crying because she starving to death, well I walked in to see if she was still asleep and she was just smiling and giggling to herself. I don't know how I got to be blessed with such a good little girl. I love my Gracy! By the way ...... there is this book called "Baby Wise" my sister in law gave to me and I swear to it, if you dont read any other chapter in the book read the Sleeping section, your kids WILL sleep through the night!

First Snow!

I dont know if you can tell but I thought I would take a pictures of the FIRST snow. Im a little torn because its always so fun when it snows but it tends to get old fast here in the Basin. So anyway, I hope our little house can survive through winter !

Tickley Whiskers

Growing up my dad used to rub our hands and feet down his face and his whiskers would make us laugh and laugh so hard. Its so neat to see him doing the same things I loved as a kid to Gracy. Im so suprised I got a few seconds of it on video, she was laughing even harder right before I pulled out the camera, but thats how it goes :)

My little Rag muffin!

This is Gracy's new little hat we got her at Steamboat Springs, I couldnt resist it. it looks pretty Boyish but if you look close it has unicorn patterns on it :) They had alot of little baby Boutiques with the cutest clothes, not that affordable.......lol. So we ended up with this little hat. (oh and a little baseball with pink stitches that Grandpa Rico picked up in SLC) Look at those chubby legs, shes catching up with her cousin Bailey!...they can be Thunder Thigh cousins:)

Ive been deep cleaning the house and I didnt really get around to doing my hair or Gracy's hair and so we both looked like little RAG MUFFINS the whole day, But I still thought she was the cutest thing ever,

This is Gracy smiling in her sleep, lol. She has been doing that alot.......sleeping with her eyes open and smiling. It looks cute in the picture but sometimes its a little freaky looking over thinking shes asleep and her eyes are slightley open with a grin on her face. What a girl!

Diamond Mountain

Yes I found my camera, now I can catch up. So ...... My mom and dad took Danny and I on a little four wheeling trip the monday after Thanksgiving to go scout for deer. We found about 2 bucks that were worth shooting. It was soo fun. But SUPER cold. We went up to Diamond Mnt, right when the sun was setting.

MY CAMERA!!!

So I have been taking my camera with me through all of my festivities and was so excited to update things with the holiday fun. Well, I LOST MY CAMERA!!!! this has been happening to just about everyone I know and now, I guess I got paranoid and it ended up happening ot me. Its so frustrating, especially since I had pictures on it I wanted. Anyway. Thats why my blog is slackin'. But on a brighter note, Thanksgiving was so fun. It was with my side of the family this year and we had dinner at Grandma Marie's house. She is such an amazing cook. Its so wierd how you end up anticipating this huge dinner and then its over in like MINUTES! after we just sat and played games and ate more food the rest of the night. Friday night was "holly days" in downtown vernal, its pretty fun. They have festival of trees and a parade and they actually roast chestnuts on an open fire.....yeah I know, our little town of vernal may be overduing it :) Anyway I think Gracy really loved it even though I know she was pretty cold through the whole thing. Saturday was my mom's suprise 50th Birthday party, it was so hard keeping it from her the entire holiday. but it turned out so cute.........my sister and I b aked a ton of pumpkin cupcakes that had little suckers on the top saying ....."50 sucks" it was pretty funny, it was fun to see my mom so suprised and happy. Im Glad its all over now. its nice to have a little break before this weekend comes........yep there is more.......over the summer our friends Blake and Brooke Sprouse invited us to spend this coming weekend in their timeshare up in Steamboat Springs, we all have that nasty cold going around and are so pooped from the holday but .......I think I have a little more room for some relaxing and fun with friends.

Thats it until Christmas!!!I cant believe there is NO SNOW YET!!!!! Its kinda nice since we were all snowed in last year at this time :)

CHECK PLEASE !

So as you all know I do make up at the Merle Norman Studio here in vernal. My boss asked me to go to a business meeting that had studio owners from Idaho, Colorado, and Utah and we all meet 2 a year. Betty and I drove out to SLC together and I really had a great time. We went and ate at Cheesecake Factory, I had the most amazing 4 cheese pasta and we got our nails and toes done and then waited in the lobby at the Embassy Suites on 6th. We had great food there and I had the yummiest lemonade Ive ever had there, it was ridiculously priced, but really good, I drank about 4 glasses before the other ladies showed up, a few other ladies ordered the same drink as me but apparently one of them decided to throw a little licker in with her lemonade ......yeah....and guess who's drinks got mixed up! Dont worry, I only had a sip before I realized there was something totally wrong with my cough syrup tasting lemonade :) I made Betty take a sip and she was like.....yeah Nicky that's not your drink! I have never felt more out of place in my life, the one word I can think of that described all of those women is "plastic" lol. the only thing we had in common is the love of Merle makeup. It was great getting to see the new product line coming out and trying 5 star food, but man, I do not belong in that kind of life. I love my t-shirt and jeans and left overs night!

Memories (thanks Alisha)

My friend Alisha had this oh her blog so im copying it!!!!

As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot...anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you!

Happy Birthday Grandma Bingham!

We had a really fun get together with all of the Bingham family on Saturday. Its Grandma Binghams 80th Birthday, It was so fun to see everyone, and for me its nice to get to know the extended family better. We used the Neola Elementry school and it worked out really well. The kids had a good time playing with all of the toys and I think Danny had more fun terrorising all the nephews at basketball. Believe it or not we didnt have any serious injuries the entire day! thats got to be a record. Gracy didnt get a nap that day and was seriousley the baby Zombie, she had this look on her face like.....I dont want to miss anything, but with these glazed over eyes, poor little thing. Anyway, We had a great time. I am so grateful for Grandma and Grandpa Bingham for giving us such a great family. Its hard to believe that it all started with those two people. OH I almost forgot, it was potluck, and Danny made his "special spaniard Tater Salad" I know, and It was way good. I feel a little intimidated that my husband can cook better than me. I should take advantage of this EVERY NIGHT!!!!

RICE CEREAL!

My little girl is growing up, Gracy had her 4 month last week and we got the OK to start rice cereal. Poor thing also got another round of shots so she hasn't been herself, she seems to be doing better though :) I called my sister the other day to see how her baby Bailey is doing, her and Gracy are only 3 days apart and they have been starting new things at the same time. I just wish we lived closer. They are both reaching for things and laughing and its just a cool thing to watch them go through it together. I love it. This is Grandma Linda she seems to know how to make the cereal so Gracy will eat it, I havent had any luck so far :)

Onward !

Ive had some serious thoughts floating around that needed to be released with all of this election mumbo jumbo. So I was reading a few chapters in this book I received a few years ago "An Enemy hath done this" Ezra Taft Benson wrote it back in the 60's I think, Its amazing to me how the prophets have so much knowledge of the future. Its just another realization to me how important it is to listen to pres. Monsen and his teachings.

In 1942, the First Presidency warned us saying:"Satan is making a war against all the wisdom that has come to men through their ages of experience. He is seeking to overturn and destroy the very foundations upon which society, government, and religion rest. He aims to have men adopt theories and practices which he induced their forefathers, over the ages, to adopt and try, and only to be discarded by them when found unsound, impractical and ruinous. He plans to destroy liberty and freedom -- economic, political, and religious, and to set up in place thereof the greatest, most widespread, and most complete tyranny that has ever oppressed man. He is working under such perfect disguise that many do not recognize either him or his methods... Without their knowing it, the people are being urged down paths that lead only to destruction. Satan never before had so firm a grip on this generation as he has now."I truly feel it is not foreign affairs that will destroy this country first, it is what goes on within our country, Americans destroying America. "Great nations are never conquered from the outside unless they are rotten inside... We might survive a nuclear attack -- but we cannot survive (any better than Athens and Rome) moral degeneration and the abandonment of fundamental principles." -Benson

I really feel that Pres. Benson is right, the American people will be the biggest conflict on our nation, not any foreign affairs that have happened or will happen. Its so hard not to be discouraged with the new LIBERAL in charge, especially since Danny and I have a little baby girl that has to now grow up in a seeming to fail country. I had the worst thought the other night as McCain's chances lessened, I thought how could I have been so selfish to bring Gracy into this world in such trying times, And then I got thinking how amazing she is and how important it is for her to be here and have the chance to change things for the better, that's the big plan, we all have the chance to choose and as Gracy gets older I have the luxury of introducing the gospel in her life. But I have to say while listening to Obama speak the other night. "If there is anyone out there that still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders are alive in our times, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer." I do doubt, but I also have hope, McCain as well as Obama asked our nation to become Unified, I guess this is the one time in this entire election that I have had some sense of mind and feeling of comfort. I hope not so much for my sake but for my babies sake, that our nation will choose the right, be as a unified country.

Girls Day!!!

Tuesday night my sister Corinne decided to take Wednesday off and come out to spend the day with my mom, Gracy and I. We are all pretty ready for the holidays because we all miss the "family time" . We had so much fun, we just kind of enjoyed the day, Corinne and Gracy and I went to a new clothing store in vernal while my mom stopped by her work to check a few emails. We hit wal-mart to pick up some ingredients and then went home to bake cookies and watch a chick flick. We watched "PS I love you" I have to say I really wasn't a fan of it, honestly like chick flicks, I don't know if its after baby hormones or what but It was sooo sad......too sad to watch, really, I don't recommend it. But I loved spending time with Corinne and mom. She also made Gracy a little pink tutu, its sooo cute. I forgot my camera but I think my mom snapped a picture ill have to post it later.

Halloween Party!!!!

Danny and I went to hang out with a few friends Halloween night, Gracy got to go trick-or-treating with her G-ma and G-pa .
Marcus, Trevor and Shaun Batty, The batty boys~

This is me looking like an Idiot, we were playing a modified version of Guesstures.
Boys against girls.....Guess who won......yeah the girls did, we rock and blew the boys out of the water!

This is Shaun, Amber's hubby, since their last name is "Batty" we thought this hat was appropriate:)

Amber made us a yummy spaghetti dinner. Although I have to say it was a little trippy eating purple noodles and bone shaped bread sticks. Her and Shaun have been married for about 1 month, they are such a cute couple, Its been fun getting back together with my high school friends. I just love them. Having good friends is something danny and I have always been blessed with.

Gracy's first Halloween!!!

Look at my cute little bunny! I always thought it was ridiculous to dress your little baby up for Halloween when they don't even know whats going on. I understand why women do it now, lol. I just couldn't help myself, I even put blush on her little nose and eye liner for rabbit whiskers. I think Gracy had no idea what was going on but was surprisingly willing with the face makeup and rabbit ears. I just love her, she is such a great baby. I was thinking about how babies just have to do whatever and go wherever, its kinda sad, but Gracy seems to be cool with being hauled wherever we need to go. She actually really likes going places.

MOM WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING!!!!!

Im pretty much the cutest rabbit on earth!!!

House for Sale!

So We finally decided to go ahead and list our house. We haven't been trying very hard to sale it until we found some cute town homes in Roosevelt, I know everyone who knows me and is from Vernal you are rolling your eyes, I honestly love living in the basin. But...., I had some convincing from Danny, and after spending some time in Neola, I have come to love it. I love the country, horse back riding, cows, camping, fishing, its really where we are happy. I would rather live in Neola than Roosevelt but Danny's job has him commuting from vernal to Myton EVERY DAY! Its a killer, so back to the Townhouses, its the perfect place for us right now. It gives us an option to upgrade later down the road as well. My mom helped me pick out colors this last week, she is the one I usually go to for decision making on stuff like paint colors and furniture:) Love ya mom.

here is the site check it out.

World Series Party!

This is Saturday Night at Grandma and Grandpa's house, watching the Phillies and the Rays battle it out. Gracy loves all her Grandpas, we didnt get to have Grandpa Bingham with us but we got to see Great-Gpa Bob, Grandpa Rico, and Great-Gpa Ned. She had her eyes on the Big screen the entire time. My mom made homeade pizza and shrimp dip. SOOO good.
IM SO TIRED>>>>>TAKE ME HOME !

Gracy's new Tricks

Gracy has got a new toy, THE BUMBO, its such a great little babysitter, and its really helping her learn to sit up on her own. She hasn't actually sat up by herself but she is getting closer. Danny balances her on his hand allot and she just loves every second of it. She is such a Daddy's girl! Its the best thing in the world to see my little baby girl and her daddy together. It's so cute to see Danny racing in the door after work to pick her up and love on her. She knows right away who it is. Look at those fat cheeks!!!

Blessed!

Well a week before Gracy came Danny applied for a job at Newfield as a pumper. He of course got the job but was hoping to get on as a Tech. Danny was persistent and put his resume in for a tech position, three months later they FINALLY interviewed him and three other guys. Well we finally found out on Monday that he DID get the job. We are so blessed and thankful. I know he is the one that is capable and will do the best job. He Loves learning and will be able to continue an education. I am so grateful for all the blessings that have come our way this year. Our beautiful baby girl, Danny's new job, the roof over our head, family close by, wonderful friends, I couldn't be more happier.

The Stink Eye

Here is a video of my Gracy, she was about a month 1\2 at this point, shes now 3 months and some change. She has this thing where she holds her lips into a little cheerio shape like shes going to whistle. Its the cutest thing and I got it on camera! Now at three months she is doing SO much more, I just wish we had a good video camera instead of using the video thing on our camera. Does anyone know of a good camera to buy? Danny and I arent sure if we want a camcorder that uses a jump drive, or those little CD things or tapes or what, We Need some guidence.

Saturday at GG's house

We went over to my Grandma and Grandpas house, Gracy's Greats (GG's). We all decided to draw names for christmas and Luke, my cousin, wanted to feed Gracy, he thought it was pretty cool, hes such a cute little kid, and so well behaved. It was so funny, while he was feeding Gracy he said. "wow micky, shes Firsty like a dog" I thought that was hilarious... My Aunt Angi got Gracy laughing so hard doing patty cake, Its amazing that Gracy is already giggling and laughing at 3 months. Uncle Andy calles Gracy Fire Cracker, and Bailey RJ for "Ryan Jr" leave it to him for the funniest little nick-names. And Im sure your wondering about my Dad with the Hooter Hider, NO hes not breastfeeding, :) he decided to eat his Caramel popcorn undercover :) my Grandmas Caramel popcorn is seriously famous, its sooo good. ill have to post her recipe.
